Dr. Kazim Åženol is an Associate Professor of Surgery at the Department of General Surgery, UludaÄŸ University Medical Faculty, specializing in breast cancer and lymphedema treatment. After graduating with high honors from Istanbul University CerrahpaÅŸa Medical Faculty in 2006, Dr. Åženol embarked on a distinguished career in general surgery, supported by specialized training under prominent mentors. He completed his surgical residency at NHS and later attained an associate professorship in 2022 at Uludag University.
In 2022, Dr. Åženol earned a TÜBÄ°TAK research scholarship that enabled him to deepen his expertise in breast cancer and lymphedema at the University of Pittsburgh, USA, where he conducted innovative research and clinical training in these fields. His career is marked by national and international qualifications.
A dedicated educator, Dr. Åženol integrates his surgical expertise into both his teaching and clinical practice, guiding residents and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes in breast surgery.
