A Bit About Me
Dr. Berk Göktepe is currently a faculty member in the Breast Unit of the Department of General Surgery at Ege University Faculty of Medicine, where he is also in charge of kidney transplantation.
Dr. Göktepe graduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine in 2006 and began his career in general surgery at the Department of General Surgery at Ege University, where he worked as a surgical assistant. During his assistantship, he gained additional experience in hepatobiliary surgery through a three-month clinical rotation at the Technical University of Munich Faculty of Medicine.
Following his specialization in general surgery, he fulfilled his compulsory service obligations and subsequently joined Koç University Hospital, where he focused on hepatobiliary surgery. In 2017, Dr. Göktepe returned to Ege University General Surgery Clinic, directing his career towards breast surgery.
Throughout his career, Dr. Göktepe has sought opportunities to enhance his expertise, completing short-term clinical training programs abroad in various reputable institutions.
