Banu Yigit, MD

I was born in Istanbul in 1990. I graduated from Istanbul University Istanbul Faculty of Medicine in 2014. I completed her specialty training in General Surgery at Health Sciences University Sisli Etfal Hospital in 2021 with her specialty thesis on ‘’Usefulness of endoscopic tattooing before neoadjuvant therapy in patients with clinical complete response in locally advanced rectal cancer for providing a safe distal surgical margin during surgery’’. I have many scientific studies published in national and international journals and presented at congresses. Her research interests include benign and malign breast diseases, and oncoplastic breast surgery, I worked in Elazig Fethi Sekin City Hospital between 2021-2023 years. She has been working in the general surgery clinic of Bagcilar Training and Research Hospital since 2023. I was entitled to receive the title of Associate Professor in the field of general surgery on 26 March 2024.
